Author Alison Wallwork – #MOMLIFE Devotions
When she started mothering the first of her four sons, Alison Wallwork wished she had a devotional book to help her deal with the day-to-day challenges of being a mom. She realized that mothers give of themselves to their kids and family every day all week long, and unless they are poured back into with practical insights, encouragement, and hope, they will be left dry and empty.
With that as her motivation, she wrote 16 devotional teachings, with stories drawn from her own experience with her boys, written in an authentic, easy-to-read format that moms can readily apply to their lives without having to set aside a lot of time or do a lot of homework. Each week, her readers look at one verse or passage of scripture for five days – learning from it, growing from its wisdom, and contemplating how they can apply the principles to their everyday lives.
